If no reduction is selected, the basic coverage according to the current tariff applies automatically.
What is the deductible reduction?
With the optional deductible reduction, you can lower the deductible payable in the event of a claim for a single trip.
What is covered by the add-on package?
The add-on package covers the following types of damage:
- Fire damage
- Natural hazards (e.g. storm, hail, flooding)
- Snow slide
- Theft
- Misappropriation
- Animal damage (including marten damage)
- Malicious damage
- Glass damage
The following is excluded from insurance coverage:
- Tyres
How can I purchase the deductible reduction?
The reduction can be selected and purchased during the booking process in the app.
Is the deductible reduction mandatory?
The reduction is optional. If it is not selected, the basic coverage according to the current tariff applies automatically.
Can the deductible reduction be purchased for multiple trips?
The deductible reduction is always limited to a single trip and cannot be applied across multiple trips.
How much does the reduction cost?
The costs are charged per booked hour and are clearly displayed during the booking process in the app.
What happens if I extend my booking?
If a booking is extended, the deductible reduction is automatically extended for the additional time and charged accordingly.
Can I add the reduction after the trip has started?
The reduction can be purchased exclusively during the booking process.
If the trip has not yet started, the booking can be cancelled and rebooked in order to add the reduction.
Can the reduction be changed or removed after booking?
Once the booking has been completed, the selected reduction can no longer be changed or removed.
Does the reduction apply for the entire duration of the trip?
The reduction applies for the entire booked trip duration. In the event of an extension, it remains valid accordingly.
What happens if I end the trip early?
The reduction is charged based on the actual booked duration and the booking times recorded in the system.
