BEFORE THE TRIP & START BOOKING
No physical key is required to start your booking. The vehicle opens automatically when you start the booking.
Once your booking begins, you can connect the vehicle to your smartphone via Bluetooth. If you are using allride for the first time, you may need to change the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone. Instructions can be found here.
DURING THE JOURNEY
Depending on the location and vehicle type, the vehicle is opened & closed either via the app or with the key located in the glove compartment
Keyless cars & 2-wheelers: The great thing about this is that you only need your smartphone to open and close the vehicle. During the entire rental period, you can open and close the vehicle via the app.
Cars with keys: During the booking process, the vehicles are opened and closed with the key in the glove compartment. On the key there is a blue tag, which is stuck in a terminal.
AFTER RIDE & FINISH BOOKING
Keyless cars & 2-wheelers: At the end of the trip, lock the vehicle in the app and complete the booking.
Cars with keys: IMPORTANT: Do not lock the car with the key! Put the key back in the glove compartment and insert the blue tag back into the terminal. Complete the booking in the app. The car will now be locked automatically.
